Teachers are perhaps the most important people in our lives! Our parents bring us up, but in the true sense it is our teachers who make us ready to face the world! They are the ones who influence us more than anybody else.

1. Akshay Kumar
Yes, the khiladi of Bollywood was once a teacher. He had dropped out of school to learn martial arts, for which he travelled even out of India. When he returned to Mumbai, he started teaching martial arts. One of his students, an aspiring photographer, recommended Kumar into modelling which ultimately led to a modelling assignment! And thus the journey started!
2. Nandita Das
The director and the actress was a teacher in Rishi Valley School, continuing with theatre on the side.
3. Chandrachur Singh
The actor, who had shot to fame with 'Maachis', was a music teacher in Doon School before his acting career took off.
4. Kader Khan
The brilliant actor was also a teacher between 1970-75! He used to teach Civil Engineering at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Byculla, Mumbai. Also, he is now a teacher of Hindi in Dubai.
