Ajith's next two outings to be produced by Boney Kapoor

Thala Ajith seems to have given a treat to his fans with his latest outing Viswasam on Pongal. The fact that distributor has claimed ‘Viswasam’ to be Ajith’s most successful film in his career in terms of business, has put his fans on cloud nine. The success of ‘Viswasam’ is considered a big deal as the film shared its release date with Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’. As the fans celebrate Viswasam’s victory, rumours about Ajith’s upcoming projects are doing the rounds.It’s official that Ajith has been roped in for H Vinoth’s remake of the critically acclaimed Hindi film ‘Pink’, produced by Boney Kapoor. Ajith will be playing Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the film, while Vidya Balan is said to be playing a crucial role. Rumours were rife that Ajith might do another film with director Siva after the Pink remake. But the truth is that Ajith has committed to only two films till mid-2020 and both are produced by Boney Kapoor. Clearing the confusion, the actor’s publicist said on his micro-blogging page, “Mr Ajith Kumar has committed for two films with Mr Boney Kapoor until mid 2020. Speculations on him signing films with other production companies are incorrect. Kindly do not encourage speculations WarmRegards Team AK.” (sic)
