Uri star Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar set to scare the bejesus out of you in a horror flick
Much like Ayushmann Khurrana and Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal too had quite the year (2018). May not necessarily be reeking in the success of box-office numbers but his performances have been loved by one and all be it as Alia Bhatt’s Pakistani husband in Raazi, Ranbir Kapoor’s best friend in Sanju, DJ Sandz in Manmarziyaan and this year, he is also getting some box-office love with Uri: The Surgical Strike.
It has already been announced that Vicky will be seen next in Karan Johar’s directorial venture Takht, a film which yet to go on the floors and stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. However, it seems Takht won’t be the first film in which Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal will come together, rather, a high-concept horror film is in the making which will star these two critically-acclaimed actors.
The film will also have substantial VFX and will heavily rely on background score and sountrack. “It is made on a really tight budget, and even the post production is not expected to take a lot of time,” the source concluded.
